The coffee beans are hand harvested from Aceh Gayo microlots. Geographically Takengon is located in Central Aceh district of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province.
They are only found in 5% of the crop and are removed manually. In 5 to 10 percent of all coffee cherries, only one, more rounded bean develops, rather than two beans side-by-side.
This is direct trade from producer. Coffee will taste like black cherry, orange, cacao nibs.
